High Heathercombe Centre is set in a beautiful woodland valley high in the Dartmoor National Park. Adjoining the open moor, the centre has stunning views and is perfectly situated for walking, resting, star gazing and enjoying the wild beauty of the moors in summer. Children of all ages very welcome. Gather your family and friends to enjoy a memorable and nourishing holiday in the tranquility of the Heathercombe estate.

Wifi is available. In the centre grounds there is a large outdoor fire pit with wood supplied and a good sized BBQ. We have a full size table tennis table in the Forest Room space and a selection of outdoor games. There is a washing machine and tumble drier for visitors to use.
Creative Craft Sessions-
We can offer bespoke craft sessions to family groups by prior arrangement, including felt making, Paper making and willow lanterns. These sessions are suitable for children and adults over 5 years.

Heathercombe Gardens and Woodland-
The Heathercombe estate is run by the Claude and Margaret Pike Woodlands Trust, a registered charity, whose purpose is to conserve the special environment of Heathercombe. This includes woodland gardens, an arboretum, South Heathercombe and extensive forestry plantations. The woodland and cottage gardens extend over 30 acres and include hundreds of well-labelled specimen trees and shrubs, including 100 varieties of rhododendron, and over 1½ miles of woodland walks and paths. In recent years the gardens have been extended and now include the cottage garden, orchard and wild flower meadow.
